Availability: Extinct.
Scare Factor: Low.
2nd Logo (1977-1981)
Nicknames: "dc"
Logo: Over a black background, we see a forming of a line in the center. At the same time a strange shape forms on top of the line, almost forming the infinity symbol. The image appears to be lowercase "d" and "c", joint together. The company name appears at the bottom of the screen.
SFX: The forming of the "dc" logo, similar animation to the NBC Snake logo.
Music: Had a short keyboard tune.
Availability: Appeared on the TV movies "Elvis" and "Birth of The Beatles", but has rare written all over it.
Scare Factor: Minimal.
3rd Logo (1981-1983)
Nicknames: "Spinning Bar"
Logo: Starts with a golden bar zooming in, and starting to spin clockwise. The bar forms a circular image which splits in two and turns into an "o" and "c". All three images stick together to form the "dc" logo.
SFX/Cheesy Factor: Spinning of the gold bar.
Music: A xylophone tune, going down the musical scale.
Availability: Not seen often on cable. It wasn't a widely used logo to start with.
Scare Factor: Minimal.
4th Logo (1982-1989)
Nicknames: "Gold dc"
Logo: We see an outline bar rising from the center of the screen. A circle emerges to the left and a "c" emerges from the circle to the right of the bar, forming the "dc" logo. It then shines to gold.
SFX: The shining gold letters.
Music: Strange mystical synthesizer music. Ends with what seems like a low bass sound.
Availability: Can be found on "TV's Bloopers and Practical Jokes" on TNN.
Scare Factor: Minimal, some might be caught off-guard by dramatics.
5th logo (1989- )
Nicknames: "CGI dc"
Logo: A streak of light is seen at the bottom right of the screen. The "dc" logo emerges from there, and is placed onto the center of the screen, facing to the left.

SFX: The streak of light, the "dc" shine
